Engine is lumpy can I fix it myself?

Hi all, here I am again to tap into the unlimited knowledge of this forum.

I've been driving my 911t occasionally after it has been sitting for 30 years (with the PO) I did about 3 to 4 short drives. But I feel the engine is lumpy and has trouble revving. I've send the video's below to a specialist he says it runs on 5 instead of 6. But people who hear it live say, it's low on idle but runs on six but just needs a balance and a proper tune.

The settings are done using this video, but I do not have such a fancy timing light.

I've tried my best setting al the settings correct, but I also know this is specialist territory. That being said, I'd like to learn more about my engine by doing things myself.

What do you guys think?

Can I fiddle with it to get it better, or leave it up to the expert(s)?

The good news is that it starts and runs! After sitting for so long, there could be numerous issues with the ignition system, the fuel system, or both. In answer to your question, yes, you can. But, do you want to dedicate the time and effort to do so? The diagnosis and repair or adjustment of the ignition system and fuel system will require knowledge (which can be gained through the experts and resources available on this forum), tools and time. It can be rewarding to do the work yourself, but it may not be practical. If that’s the case, get it to an expert with the proper tools and let them bring it up to standard so you can enjoy driving it.

I'd swap the fuel and filters out first thing.

It has been completely gone through. New fuel, new fluids allround. Cleaned the filters (K&N, not a fan). Cleaned the carbs. It’s just I need to finetune it. But a bit lost onbehagen it needs why it’s still so lumpy.

I checked spark on all cilinders so it’s not that.

Your carbs need correct tuning, suggest you go to "1 Quick S " site by Paul Abbott. He has done a excellent job outlining the steps for correct carburetor adjustments.
