I'm planning to acquire and install a pair of BFTorino seats in my '72 911T, and with Stefan's guidance and assistance, I believe I've narrowed my choice down to the Monte Carlo.
Next decision to make is which material. I'm leaning toward either the leather with cordoroy centers, or the leather with perforated leather centers.
Does anyone here have Monte Carlos installed in their 911? If so, I welcome your comments, suggestions, opinions, recommendations, etc.

I had the leatherette/basketweave seats installed. I have only put a few hours on these seats so far but I am very happy. I was initially thinking of the cordory centers but on advice went away from this due to the the potential for the material to stretch over time.
With the slider adapters, etc the seats sloted straight in without any adjustment. The only thing I am thinking about doing now is raising the front a little as that is a bit low. I would have liked the leather ones but economics got in the way of it considering I am in Australia and the cost with shipping isn't insignificant.
I would be curious to see who else has these seats as there have not been many posts on them but rather the fixed bucket ones. FYI I got mine from Germany as they were markedly cheaper - I don't think you can do this as your order has to go through Stefan.
We have the BF Torino, leatherette w/ corduroy. Those wear out fast and I won't buy them again. Richard

sorry to hear about the wear of your seats.
When did you buy them and how bad is the wear and where.
Traditionaly will corduroy always wear more as all other materials,bt it is also for me the best choice...even with the wear and the cleaning.
So far I have never encountered a problem.
Please submit a picture that I can address this issue to Italy.

You have now also an official BF Torino supplier in Australia and we just talked about the tilt for The Monte Carlo and the Rallye ST.We have a solution which you should be able to get shortly.

Because of the wear issue, I got the full leather seats. I have had no problems with wear. Not original equiptment......better. Much better.
I've been thinking about getting a set of either the Nurburgrings, Ralleye STs or Monte Carlos. I probably like the Nurburgring's best, but I don't think you can use a 5 or 6 point harness with it. Any idea what these seats run in leather?

Well the choice between the Nurburgring ,Rallye ST and MonteCarlo is a very different one.
It depends what kind of look you want for your car and how you are comfortable.
Nurburgring $ 765 and perforated $ 795 is the classic bucket,a bit RS style comfortable ,with side support but driveable for everyday use.
Rallye ST $ 935 was made more for the serious clubstyle racing rallye style,comfortable high side support and with the openings for 5-6 point harnesses as a standard.
Monte Carlo $ 895 and perforated leather $ 945 is close to the S seats with the only adjustment and reclining option,side support is better than on the original seats and available with the 5-6 point lap hole to support the 5-6 point harnbesses as well as the Nurbrugring for both seats $ 56.
For a classic look of the late 60's early70's use a driver Rallye ST and the corresponding Nurburgring or LeMans,just as in the good old days....
