Even a broken accelerator rod and a 1 1/2 ride home with it tied together with scrounged zip ties and small piece of wire couldn't take the smile off my face (for a week)
Surprised that it takes more than I expected to get the back end out, even in the wet.

Yes, nice folk over there in the 912 reg. - I am looking for an accelerator rod from a 69 car - the other choice was to cut mine, checking the diff between the new and old master cyl.
I ordered the dual circuit (I am on my way down the slippery slope), Will was real quick to get back to me .

Throttle steering or pitch and catch?

Glad you had a blast. Pretty amazing what the car can do if you let it.
Now the next step.... AUTOCROSS to keep those skills up (and have your hat handed to you by a guy in a beater Yugo :) )
Yes, and throttle steering that car is about as much fun as I have ever had doing anything. I think I need skinnier tires now - or more POWER :rolleyes: !Quote:

Great people too, a kid (RJ - thanks) helped tie it up, each working from the opposite sides of the car (no safe jacks available) and he and his father following me part of the way home.
I missed out on the timed autoX :( but once I fix her, I will def be doing some AutoX and DE's.
