Prayer for Walter B.
Early S'ers:
A fellow early S fanatic friend of mine,Walter B. was diagnosed a few months ago with Pancreatic Cancer.
Walter and I hit it off really well from the get go. He is a down to earth die-hard MFI guy who loves to tinker on his 2.4S spec 911. He has become very knowledgable about setting the MFI. He is also building a RS Replica and has collected beautiful parts for this motor.
Sadly, he is not able to tolerate the chemo and now he has decided to go without any more chemo. His doctor has no further treatments available for him and he is looking at alternative medicine and most of all prayers.
Sadly he may not see the day to complete his RS Replica.
I am asking the fellow early S community to keep Walter B. in their prayers. Some of you may know him personally. He is a upright guy always looking to give people advice about their early 911s.
I hope that our prayers will make a difference in his future.
God Bless!

brothers in arms...
NOW IS THE TIME. As a group with passion, I "suggest" an effort to complete Walter B's car. We have done this in the northeast, and the result, an outstanding smile, compassion for another being, and well just too much good stuff all around. What does it take to finish the car?
this is my prayer for Walter, if it were you or I, I'd take the friendship and smiles of a group that gave more than I knew was possible.

I will pass on your suggestion to Walter, but I think he wants to focus on his health and or spending quality time. He has a nice 2.4S MFI spec car which I think he wants to enjoy. As for the "RS" I don't think that matters to him anymore.

Walter;
My thoughts are with you. Focus on your heath. That is what is most important now. However, please keep your 911 (and other important things) in your mind as motivation to get well.
Fight hard, try every treatment, plan on...and don't rule out complete recovery. It happens...more often than we realize.
When you get over please let me know. Let's plan on a drive. My 2.4S is always looking for a fellow S to share the small displacement, high reving experience with.
I wish you the best.
