As my restoration continues, I am looking to find a bracket that holds on the rear license plate. My car came without any bracket and I just used two sheetmetal screws through the rear steel center panel. I see that the 74-89 have an H bracket that they can use, but I don't see a callout for a brkt for 72 and older. I am converting to a FG rear bumper so using my previous mounting method won't hold for very long.:confused:
I think I have a couple - if you don't get any response closer to home you can have one for the price of shipping from the UK.
I may have one.

you're only about 60 miles away. Time to look thru your pile of parts.
Take a look at Bill Noon's R in this month's Excellence. It has aluminum brackets front and rear that look really nice.

I don't think thats the one pictured in Excellence. Though I have been told that one will work by one guy selling them on eBay. Someone else told me I need part number 911 701 953 00. It comes with all the hardware. It is $42.
