Interesting. The best part of the car is the pre-RS oil cooler bumper.

Maybe, but the period photo above is from Jurgen Barth's book. I betcha the '72 oil filler relocation was conceived before the '72 models actually hit the showroom floor... in '71. ;) :p
So was the rear passenger compartment the only place it was lengthened? Cuz they seem to have left the "occasional" seats the same.
BTW, it's an MFI car - wouldn't it be great to meet their MFI guys - or better yet - find out that they too have to send their pumps out to Gus!!!
That is one ugly looking car. :eek: I have heard the factory is not that accurate with their restorations. The little details are often wrong. Wonder why ?

Porsche also commissioned Pininfarina to build another four-seater version of the 911.
Proto B17, built 1970, 2.2S motor. Wheelbase 2460mm.

The Pininfarina version is more pleasing to the eye IMHO. That rear side glass looks a lot like the Renault Alpine.
Looks to me like something Oscar Meyer might have done for a publicity stunt...:p , just squirt some mustard on it.....
