It seems that finding a nice used horn button has become difficult and expensive these days. The leather on mine is completely gone and the chrome trim is pitted. Is there someone that rebuilds these? Should I just buy a nice used one for a few hundred bucks? What are the alternatives?
NTW-
I had the ring of mine re-plated. It came out perfect, and only cost $30. I think that someone makes replacement leather buttons (or maybe vinyl), but I don't remember who. I don't think you will get a good one for $200.

Mittelmotor in Germany sells the hockeypuck repro for €249,-. It's made out of aluminum instead of plastic.
