PNW Early 911S / R Gruppe Racecars

A few weeks back the local vintage racing bunch (SOVREN) had their fall finale race weekend, the whole thing ends with a 90 minute enduro and a lot of great people and cars show up.

Local enthusiasts Mike Reischle (sp?) and Eric Smith were making good, so I got a bunch of photos of them and other assorted alloy and iron. Eric has the Irish Green car and Mike has the white R-look rocket. SOVREN requirements are pretty strict toward originality & correctness (arguably to a fault), but these guys are able to demonstrate the beauty of a 911 exiting a fast corner under good compression!

Nothing like a day at the races (with Dad), glad I was there!
