I have standard buckets in my 70T with both outer seatbacks bent back from years of being used to get in and out of the car (by previous portly owners?). Before I take the backs apart, to try to straighten them, I'd like to know what I am getting myself into. I am afraid I won't be able to put it back together stuffing and all.
Anyone have a pic of one? Thanks.

I doubt that they are bent. Check the adjusters first then try to tighten the screws. If the screws get loose they will brake off and the seat will lean back. If the screws won't tighten then they are broken. If that is the problem and you dont want to take the seat covers off send me a PM or e-mail and I can talk you thru a fix. Thanks Ron

Sorry I did not explain very well. My seatbacks are not leaning back, they are twisted at the outer tops (see illustration in red). Adjusters are straight and tight and the seats are in good overall shape.
It just seems that for years someone has grabbed the upper corners of the seats to drop themselves into and lift themselves out of the car.
My main concern is that I won't be able to put the seat back together after taking it apart.

I have 2 old seat bottoms you may have if you pay for UPS
You might consider to buy a new pair of early seats and save yourself assembly, stitching vinyl etc.
Standard bucket seats are still a relative easy find.
If your damaged seats are initial factory ordered equipment of car, keep them in separate storage to save history of car.
