Help on Refurbishing Power Window Motors

Some time ago, a registry member mentioned that after tearing the motors down, cleaning, and using lithium grease, the windows worked again like the guillotines they are synonymous with. The comment was made more off the cuff rather than in a detailed 'how to'.

What I am looking for is more of a detailed 'how to'. If there is a way to access the motors without removing the window frames and doing a complete door disassembly, there will be bonus points.
