search for a early 911
Here i go, starting to look for the right car. My goal is a somewhat finished complete car (no projects) that is reliable for weekends, events and liitle track stuff. Price point $20k to $30k and that is desirable enough model to hold or increase in value over time.
It seems the S models are already to far out there so what should I consider a #'s matching original or a hotrod? Not in a big rush but do expect to find something in the next few months. Any input would appreciated.
Thanks, Jeff

There are whole books on this subject...

Be patient and know what you're buying. Go to shows and chat with owners. Become familar with where rust hides and what parts are stock and non-stock. For $20,000 - $30,000, whether it's an ad on this site or Craigslist or an auction on eBay, you should be able to locate a very nice T or possibly and E. Maybe even an S if you're lucky. Good luck with the search.
