Looks pretty sweet but from a price point it's in 993 territory. I'd go for a 993 over it.
Yesterday, I went and looked at this car.
It belongs to a young Ford engineer in Dearborn. He's owned it for about 10 years now and keeps it at his folks house in Delaware.
The car is a (mismatched) repaint. The driver's mirror is about to fall off the car. The A/C has been removed and the chin spoiler is missing. It has an aftermarket exhaust and polished Fuchs. My biggest concern was the right rear quarter that had been replaced. The replacement was not done to Porsche standards, which bothered me.
I opted not to drive it even though offered by his dad. Although a decent car, it had too many big-dollar issues for me to justify that price.
The parents are very, very pleasant and a lot of fun to spend the afternoon with, if anybody would like to go see the car, the father (Jerry) can be reached at 302.335.4533

Thanks, Chuck. Decent of you to save us (me) from a long drive.
Best,
Tom
Chuck,
Thanks, I was just about to pick up phone and call. What did you think of color?
Phil
Sorry for the disappointment. From the ad it LOOKED like a very good car to own.
Soft focus or "vasoline on the lens". ;)

depending on the reserve or selling price, this 76 looks more promising.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...ayphotohosting
