At least there's $500 worth of parts there...
- Engine
- Glass
- Steel wheels
- Hood/rear quarters (maybe)
- Steering wheel
- Misc other small parts
The rest is shot. I wonder what VIN is hidden behind the silver paint on the door jamb plate?
dash alum has 66-67 911 emblem, probly a normal underneath
From what I can tell from the Paint badge is that it is a 1967 at the earliest & 1969 latest.
Body is SWB, so 1968 at the latest.
So it is either a bastard assembly or fraudulent.
Are we this desperate? An obviously bad serial number coupled with a shell that looks like it was burned or buried for the insurance. I suggest a trip to Sheridan WY for those looking for a self-flagellation experience.
I heard that Vageen from the bird site was considering buying this car for his collection...
I have a good charitable use for this. No baseball bats.
BTW: If anyone ever tells you to hide behind a car tell them "no thanks, I'm going to the basement." The red circle are .223 exits after going through the drivers door, seat, etc..
The .308 is worse yet.

Speaking of which... he's baaaaaack, with a new eBay ID

You know, looking at that eBay car, it may be the angle of the fantastic photos, but it looks like someone put an LWB trailing arm on the right side and worked the quarter panel to accommodate it, but didn't change the left side. Look at where the wheel center lines up below the quarter window.
Something very screwy here.
