These are from 2009.
If this is the original Foto Quelle RSR,then I would also have seen it race in the Nurburgring 750 km race in 1974.

Those Max Moritz RSRs are two of my favorite liveries. I like the Blue/Green scheme of the Foto Quelle a bit more than the Jaegermeister but they are both cool. Especially with those wide flares. :cool:

I actually autocrossed against this car at the PCA Parade in Boise a few years back. Way cool to see Pete driving it through the corkscrew last year.

Thanks for the early copy of Pete Stout's terrific article! Excellence seems to take forever to make its way to my little beach town. The Foto Quelle car and the Jagermeister car were confirmed by no less an authority than Jurgen Barth as the real Max Moritz RSR's. John Byrne, the long-time caretaker of the Jagermeister car, has told me (and many other interested enthusiasts) the entertaining story of how he brought those cars out of Hong Kong 20-odd years ago. My impact-bumper Carrera got to pose with them and the Bob Wollek '77 Le Mans 934 0060022 in the Paddock a couple of years ago...
The blue fan must piss off the purists. :D

This is from the race programme.
There were 21 3.0 RSRs entered - the serious guys were Kremers,Loos and the Robert Buchet entries.
We went to the weekend in conjunction with Norman Rosenkrantz,the Porsche tour guide at the time,and first met with Greg Gustafsen then.
The only missing entry was a 2 seater Ferrari as they were concentrating on F1 that year - or maybe didn't like being trounced by Matra again ! :D
