Hi,
Any experience to share with different types of textured black paint to replicate the original finish of the side reclining mecanisms of the early Recaro sport seats ?
I'm restoring a pair of 70 seats and I would like to get the look as close as possible as the original finish...

Not sure but i think it's a vermicular paint.
We have had these powder coated using a textured finish that comes close, but isn't an exact match. The main problem we have had replicating the texture is that the size of the "texture" is larger in the original, but it looks better than paint or any of the other finishes we have seen.
I would try this

A recaro restorer friend carefully inspected the finish and told me it was some uph glue sprayed and then painted black. I've seen it reproduced and it was right on...

Like all things we do to restore Porsches, trying to replicate production details on a small scale, the set up will take much more time than the actual finish. To get as good (or bad) as they were takes many attempts..Try dipping your sheetmetal in cheap enamel then baking it and you'll see what I mean.
Usually upholstery glue is contact cement sprayed with a paint gun. It will take some practice or you might show a shop the texture and they can duplicate it. Once you have it down you could do dozens at a time easier than four..IMHO
