Clock runs two hours slow per day. Is this the screw I turn? How much? Please and thanks.

I won't stake my life on it, but I'm sure the speed adjustment is accessible from the back of the gauge,,,without taking it apart.
Duh...I found it. Little bugger! Gonna clean, lube and adjust and hope that's it.
Ed - you're correct. I could have adjusted it without removing the back but I didn't see the hole because it was covered with the VDO sticker. Good time to clean and lube.
Can I hook this up to a regular 9 volt battery on the bench and observe? Plastic sleeve stamped 8-12v.
I've not tried a 9v battery, I've just used a 12v, but if it says 9-12 don't see why it wouldn't work.

Let Bobby try it. If it doesn't work, he'll tell us all!
Go for it Bob!

If you can't trust your friends to throw you under the bus, who can you trust???
It will work at the voltage range or should. Based on the way it works (or should work), the voltage shouldn't effect the speed of the clock. If you have a working one with original guts, that's rare. Thanks.

Bob, who makes that clock? Mine doesn't have those yellow arrows.

So if your clock is running slow how much do you turn that screw and what direction? Thanks
I used to have a Kienzle alarm clock. Interesting they made the movements for these.
