I would like to buy a Z gear for my 901. My goal is a freeway cruiser 5th due to many planned trips between Phoenix and California. Looked on Pelican and searched the web a bit but no luck. Can anyone recomend a place to purchase? Also, any experience with The ZA gear? Engine is a 2.4, plenty of torque to handle a taller overdrive in my opinion. Any help is appreciated. Matt at Guard in Colorado should be able to help. He's here from time to time I think but also on the Bird.
You could also consider a super cheap ZD gear from a 914 trans. They are a dime a dozen.
I think I have a few if you need one, I'll check if you want. $50
There is a "Z" on ebay- I cant see the condition really well though.
