seat belt question
I've got a '70 911t with 3-pt seat belts. Need to replace them because they're 43 years old. I'm usually pretty handy around cars but for the life of me can't figure out how to unbolt the old belts from the b-pillar. I can't see how the plastic cover comes off to get at the bolt how the factory could have possibly bolted these in. I'm sure it's pretty straightforward but I can't see it. Help!

Here you go: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...t+belt+removal
Also if you want your belts redone send them to ssnake-oyl.com.

good call on replacing the nylon webbing... nylon degrades with exposure to UV, they most likely don't even come close to their inital specs, UV exposed degraded nylon gets stiff / brittle, where as new nylon feels soft / pliable... the weakest link in the belts is the stitching making the hardware loops...

Thanks. It actually worked. I don't think Would have tugged on it that hard otherwise (for fear of splitting the plastic cover).
