A tale of good and evil
Just wanted to share a unique dichotomy that happened to me today. Recently I posted that I needed two different items for a project. One was a set of struts, and one was a shift knob. One person knowingly sold me the incorrect item, which arrived today. When approached for a refund I was basicly told tough luck their yours now. The other person was to send me the shift knob, and when I requested what to pay for it he replied, just pay for the shipping ($2.41) when you receive it. Well it also came today, and I contacted that seller to tell him that I would be sending him $10 for being so gracious, he replied, just keep it and pass it on to someone some day!! Amazing....It just goes to show you that some very great people are on these sites, and only very few are dishonest...Thanks Mike for restoring my faith...you know who you are...Cheers

A tale of good: I posted that I desperately needed a Recaro knob for my 73S seat. In less than a day I had a response from a great member who not only had the item who not only gave it to me but also insisted on sending it for free. He would not accept any money. I was shocked at his generosity.
Another memeber saw an WTB post for a NLA 73 power window switch who only wanted to sell 3 as a set. After a quick conversation, he agreed to break up the set and only sell the one I needed.
Some great people here (other than the shift knob person above)

I had a friend who use to say their are only two kinds of people in the world good ones and bad ones, perhaps he's right.
