Thanks for sharing this article.
The group is made up of all walks of life with passion for 911's, 356's and well...cars. Whether "back dated", Outlaw over the top restored or a beater ( if such a car exist), all are welcome. The Saturday EASY event is a part of Nor Cal Porsche culture led by Jim's coffee, donuts and wisdom. I'd be jealous living anywhere else.
A proud RGRUPPE member who will be in Solvang mid-May driving great roads and finishing the days in the parking lot drinking beer, smoking cigars, talking cars. It's a beautiful thing.
Older Pelican threads were even worse if you can believe it (Eric, Curt E, I and others tried to explain)..
"The most misunderstood and envied car club on the planet"
- Cain DeVore
lol creepy........
This seems like people are making a BIG deal over nothing. A bunch of guys who have similar interests in Porsches getting together and enjoying themselves. Sounds normal to me. Those threads had some cool pictures and a couple very funny videos.
I talked to Jim Breazeale for close to a hour about a month ago and he seemed like a super nice guy to me. My car doesn't fit in with any group. A 4 cylinder 911 engine in a 912. I don't have to be part of a unique club to enjoy spending time with all the Porsche folks out there. Chill, and enjoy the ride.

Well, hopefully people liked the new article (the author says shamelessly)...
Also, I'll be posting up the pictures on my Flickr account later tonight (will post up a link) for anyone who is interested in downloading any of the photos.
I'll be back out next weekend; looking forward to seeing more of the cars and chatting with the guys!

Great article!
I'm looking forward to seeing you this Saturday along with all the Yahoos, Poseurs and arrogant snobs that frequent Harlan St on the first Saturday of every month. Any and all are invited to hang out, too. Donuts and coffee are provided. Dogs, kids and even short hoods are welcome, as well.
Regards
Jim
Arrogant snob #38
Jim, is curmudgeon a euphemism for arrogant snob ? :D
I don't think you can interchange the 2 words, but I have been rightly accused of being both.................well maybe not a snob.

Jim
