912s never had the wood dash as OE... Someone correct me but 1966 was the last year for teak wood on the dash of the 911.
Of course everything could be ordered at the factory, but indeed I have never seen a 912 with a factory wooden dash.

I believe there is a growing camp that thinks those early comments were wrong, and that it was in fact African Mahogany.
It is quarter-sawn African mahogany. :)
