Moneygram vs paypal scammers

Weird things are happening. I am used to the scammers from Craigslist and Samba hiding behind the veil of the internet offering to buy or usually sell ...wanting to do it outside of paypal (defendable), wanting to use Western Union moneygram. Now we have these guys pursuing WTB and WTS on the ESR. I have had a couple guys trying to sell me parts responding to my WTB adds. They are claiming to have everything I want to source...no pics, and anxious to sell, and aggressive about Western Union. I haven't seen them here before...but they are here...be careful guys.

Yes Lars, I too have had numerous fraudulent contacts over the last few years. I always revert back to the forum and run it up the pole to see if it flys. Be careful.

PS don't look for much if any help from PayPal. There are numerous instances of them doing nothing for the user and in fact only give a 45 day window of opportunity to get a refund. Credit cards are the way to go, but I use PP myself 99% of time due to convenience.

Paypal has fought for me in 2 instances and were ready to issue my refund of $5k until the seller saw better to refund me directly. It did take a while but I came out due to the pressure exerted by PP. Also as a seller on Ebay they have favored me over idiots and scammers.
