attached are photos of the wiring for the dual license plate lamps and optional engine lamp (that my car came with). Given the distance/spacing between the engine light lamp mounting holes, it suggests I am missing a piece as this distance does not corresond to anything under the lid. Also, the 'gang' style male/female connectors in the wiring for the license plate lamps so that both are connected looks odd..but seemingly original. Thoughts would be most appreciated!

I currently have two '73 911T, but neither of them have a light.
I assume it would mount the same as it was on my '80 SC.
Found this pic on Pelican, that's the same way it was on the SC

The SC light is not the same as on early cars.

Thank you for the info. I did a search last night of the photos I took of Candyce's 73S at this years Parade and it did include a photo of the worklight.

The original part was plain carbon steel & weighed 46.05 grams. I make these in any material that you wish. Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, the original style on the left weighs 15.84 grams & the modified one on the right, that adds 2 additional narrower mounting holes, 8.84 grams. PM me if you want one.

The SWB cars had a separate wiring harness & I suspect that the LWB ones did as well. The original oval-head light-to-bracket mounting screws took washers, lock rings & plain nuts, but your lock nuts work well also.
