Now i am a true Early S menber, :D :D :D

Platas, you always were a true Early S member. It's just that now you have a shiny new (to you) Early S so that all your friends know it too. Looks great. Congrats are in order.Quote:

if he put it on a plane to spain then he certainly has $$ to burn. that would be very big bucks.
also wonder why the 72 and later s bumper and 73 front overriders on the car and extra side mirror (which don't work by the way if mounted in standard location)?
Perhaps; I put a motorcycle on a plane in an oversized crate for $1500 to Germany last year. What would it cost for a car, double that? Not a huge amount if you consider the shady stuff that happens to cars in container ships.
You don't want to see what happened to my SC eventhough it was in a sealed container by itself.... picture a container after being dropped from the unloading crane......$$$Quote:

Sorry to be beotchy but your note reminds me of the beating I got when I originally got my blue car and I shared a pic (was the cover of the website for a while) and it sported some Vitaloni mirrors installed by the PO (and long gone  ) and no bumperettes....
sorry did not mean to be negative just wondering outloud why the car had those items, why they were put on...... not that there is anything wrong with that.
Congratulations. Great find Platas. Beautiful car. Looks really nice. Bahia Red? Obviously the pictures are from here in the U.S.
Do you have any plans for it? Like replacing some of the incorrect year parts? The toughest replacement would have to be the decklid grille. The 70'/71' engine grills in good condition are almost impossible to find. On my 71' the grill was sanded and painted black for it's 80's make-over. :( I'll probably have to end up restoring it which will be either, time consuming and expensive or very expensive.
Beautiful car enjoy.
