Installed my faux red trumpet horns today with C. Boyer's nice repro brackets.

I'm actually proud of myself. They came out great:D. Masking took me 2 hours per wheel. Scored with 3m scratch pad, masked with fine line vinyl tape and blue painters tape, stuck quarter in lug holes for a perfect fit, sprayed SprayMax 2k epoxy primer 3680032, and painted with REM trim black 39143. Took me 6 months just to get the nerve to do it.
I sure can get a lot done when she's at work:rolleyes:

Sorry, I finally removed it.
Today I made new "whisperer" style shift coupler bushes from some delrin I had loafing, can't say how they have improved the shift since I also took the seats out for trimming ...
