Did a quick compression check and got 178 to 180 psi over all six , reckon its nicely sealed and bedded in now after 2k miles, really happy even though the number of oil changes I've done have cost a small fortune and may be helping keep joe gibbs in business.

This thread is a joy to read, thank you all for your contributions!
Today me and my little 3 year old decided it was time for the last ride this season and change oil on the lavender car before putting her in winter storage. Only problem she fell asleep before we arrived back at the garage.. Well, better luck next year :)

No pictures but i finally got a little sound deaden-er ordered so I can keep moving on the interior.
The 23/31 hollow torsion bars and offset camber plates have arrived for the competition suspension upgrade on the 911. Been running all season on stock torsion bars, and been holding my own pretty well. But my closest competitor just got a new Boxster S and subsequently shaved 2 seconds off his time. The points battle has left me 2 points behind ... and I don't like to lose. :D
Finally got porsche number 2 out of storage and back to the new house to join the rsr . now on to shifting number 3
Hi Radmund, glad to see that you're still posting.
I'm actually inquiring about a post that you made quite a while back. You were looking for info about Mitsuwa Motors as you had purchased a car from Japan and were trying to get it's history while it was in Japan. I have purchased a car that was imported from Japan and I'm having trouble getting any of the car's Japanese history as well.
In your original post you said you were able to get the info that you needed, any chance you could point me in the right direction?
Thanks, any help would be appreciated. Don ( Email: myriad@telus.net )
PS. The new project looks great!
Hi Don, email sent!
Great to hear from another Japan Porsche owner! I will start a thread asap about what I and a friend have found out about cars delivered new to Japan. Hopefully this will be of help for you and others looking for Japanese history.
Please show us some pictures of your car :)
Regards, Radmund
