Description on eBay:
Solid project - Non sunroof coupe with S trim package including front and rear factory sway bars. Very desirable special order Metallic blue. This car has been off road for many years and has been loosely reassembled and does not run. No evidence of accident damage to the chassis. The car has had the front suspension pan replaced and welding completed in the left and right jack point/door jamb areas -torsion tube area is solid . The brake system, fuel system will need to be gone through. The motor and trans are correct for the car (both from 1973.5 cars) however they are not original to the car. The motor was purchased 5 years ago with only 75,000 miles from california car consequently muffler and heat exchangers are in great shape. Updated pressure fed tensioners were added at some point. Doors and front and rear lids are original to the car. The spare tire rim is a 5th ATS cookie cutter (not pictured)
There are some parts that have not been re-assembled and can be seen in the loose parts pictures other wise what you see is what you get.
other info:
The windshield has wiper marks in it and will need replacement. It will also need a carpet set, rubber parts and headliner. The outer body panels align pretty well but have dents and dings and will need a competent body man to get them all perfect.
MIA- fuel pump, regulator ,radio, antenna , rear seat backs foot boards and possibly a few other parts I have missed.

Lots of problems. Wrong mirror, wrong fog lights, wrong wheels, wrong seats, wrong rear license panel area, aftermarket sunroof. Asked for engine number, got a shot showing a Federal compliance sticker for a '77 2.7.
Already bid well over value at $31,100
I agree that this car has some "interesting personal touches" but assuming that it is without significant rust issues - a huge assumption, I know - what IS someting like this worth?
I bought my solid, numbers-matching '70T coupe two years ago and have been casually looking around for another longhood (though I would prefer a SWB). It seems like you just don't see any early cars for this kind of money unless they are seriously clapped-out.
Why is the sunroof a killer?...It might be a dealer installed "Golde"-sunroof(same as the 356's)...and it might be working just fine...some people(like me) like to have a sunroof....just saying!...Thanks'.../ Lars...
P.S... what is wrong with the mirror(for a -72)?...OK, so the interior is a little goofy, and since when is there a problem swapping foglights? and Yes, the engine is wrong...looks like a color change but if it doesn't have any rust it looks like it could be some potential here...IMHO..of course...
Lars,
You need to get into politics.
If this car were a re-VIN'd 912 I think you would still say nice things about it.
