All the bright work against the black paint looks killer. I don't recall ever seeing wheel arch trim on a black car. Very nice!:cool:
There's an interesting story about the color. The car was shipped from the factory dark metallic green. It was off-loaded in Long Beach just in time for a lengthy longshoremans strike. It sat on the docks for 6 months before the strike was over at which point the paint was ruined. Bob Smith Porsche then had the car painted black and subsequently sold it "new" in that color.

This is my 1973 911-S sunroof coupe. Original not restored 66,000 miles Mostly all original paint, some small touch ups,full tan leather interior, sport seats, 7" RS rear wheels.
