Porsche Automobilia

Missed that Lot # today... A poster costing about one tenth of the price of an "excellent" condition '75 930 or one fifth of price of a "fair" condition example --- old paper poster vs a whole classic turbo 911?

That is apparantly the price today's buyer was willing to pay for this example of condition 2 Italian promotional poster of just such a car? Don't understand why it cost that amount, but I'll assume the buyer is happy with their deal. Comparison of prices according to this insurer's classic car valuation tool:

(Incidentally the vintage car poster's price today was approaching roughly 1/3 of the car's £15.5k 1975 new retail list price here (including tax and VAT). I was too young to drive cars back then but wish (on a school trip to Italy maybe) I'd got me this poster.)

Some posters and colours chart's prices in last auction seems crazy to me. Maybe it's time to sell some of my stuff:cool:
Will check the style of the Porsche crest on my red jacket.

Maybe the Italian '75 930 poster following BREXIT the buyer thought stuff was being sold by Ladenburg priced in Italian Lira, not Euros ;)

The price of the old Porsche cheap nylon race jacket will soon be at level of Italian Kiton suits and will need serious moth control too.

The crest patch on my red jacket has the same style of the one posted by MRP but without "stuttgart".:confused:

I was given this old (?) or at least well used but still working brass cigarette lighter today that my daughter found in a junk shop. Apart from the Porsche crest there are no markings that I can see. The lighter is activated by sliding the face of it sideways as seen in one picture. Does anyone know if it an official factory item or just something that has been made with the crest on it. It has twin burners at the top and the rear side is plain unmarked brass

Sorry Hugh but that is a totally non factory item, and Stuttgant instead of Stuttgart is quite scaring!
