and the photo of S C 9166 ( T/R 11820472) is at the 1968 Donu Castrol Rally with Pauli Toivonen and the red 911 #12 is Walter Poltinger and Merinsky in a 911 at the 1966 1000 Minuten rally
I am not sure about that. I thought that that plate 3571 DK13 was on both 14R (although I dont have any photos of 14R carrying rally plate #5) before it was crashed and the "Alpinche" was created and 09RQuote:

I am only going on what some members here have posted since that post you are relying on from 2015. In particular there are some posts starting at about #444 here about 009R and 014R.
also this site is suggesting that the orange car is 014R and that paint scheme was applied in 1969 when owned by Reverter
I stand corrected for sure. I missed that entire exchange later in the R thread.
What a wacky story though between 009 and 014...!
