After some months reading this interesting forum, I just wanted to say hello to everybody over here.
I'm a new member, my name is Andrea and I live near Como, Italy; my pre-bumper 911 is a 1973 2.4s, an excellent original car.

Stunning car A.
Good to see you on this forum. I look forward to seeing your car in person someday in Italy.
Did you get my last email about my RS? Eagerly awaiting any news. Thanks for your help so far.
All the best (love those seats)

Mike
After many months of rustoration pain, here are some pics of my achievements.
Breifly,a partial strip was done and the shell was found to be corrosion free except for the usual sunroof drain hole blockage problems.
The doors were thrown away due to excess filler and not enough door ,and the fenders were not repairable as they were warped due to excessive heat used in the previous round of repairs twenty years ago.:(
The floor pan, front suspension pan and sills were in very good condition and needed no attention.
Production number was found to be correct.
Wheels, instruments and seats were renovated / freshened up as required and the 914 / 6 wheel was re leathered.
Thanks to Rudy van der Vecht for the houndstooth material,Andy Boyle for the steering wheel and Autobahn Interiors for the perforated leatherettes.
Now to drive the wheels off it for the next ten years !!:D
Cheers,
Dennis.:)
Pics were too big !
