Excellent first post Paul!
Here's a snapshot of the new/old wheel treatment on my daily driver, parts and grocery getter. The spokes are raw.
A.T......... Round up the boys tomorrow and come on down for the "Bug-In" at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls. Take QEW to Mountain Rd exit...go over Qew and down on left a couple miles is the park. I had a small hand in helping build up a buggy for this event and it will be there. I'm taking my 911 in just to help the 4 cyl friends visualize what some viagra could do to their bugs....lmao! If a bunch come down I'll toss an impromptu bbq at my place. Bring swim stuff to cool off. :D
ps...Jens ol bean...good to hear from you!
Not exactly Band Camp, but my summer vacation is looking up.

I hope to have her on the road by the end of July.
Best Regards,
Sumner
Wow! Amazing transformation.
All the credit goes to SpeedWerks in NC and to Rob at dC Automotive for not cutting her up. (and giving me free range to his warehouse (s) to look for parts)
Dave & his crew (SpeedWerks) have done some great work to bring her back. I only needed to spend all of my free time looking for the parts.
I'll post some really ugly photos of the rust when I recover them from the RAID on my burnt workstation  .
Sumner
Hey Sumner,
Wow she looks great ! I see you've been busy.
All the best. Juan
Looks great! I knew I recognized that shop, I've spent a good amout of time at Speedwerks. What's Dave doing to your motor? He did a top end rebuild on my 2.4 in '05 with new cams and high compression pistons. A very stong motor! I'll have to stop in and check out that slate gray, great color.Quote:

85mm P/C with 2.4 L Heads machined to match the Webers. You'd have to ask him what cams he is using. Those are the only thing I didn't provide along with the 85mm pistons.
They also rebuilt the the 901, Since the GA was already there: B, GA, M, S, X.
They are a great group.
If they have the sandrail still there, it's a treat.
