I have 1968 911 "S" transmission case 4280949 (901/02), date stamped 6/68.
What was lost has been found! The case has been reunited with the car! Thanks for all the help behind the scenes to track it down.

I dont know much about restamping but it looks like it was stamped on top of the original casting. Could this have been one of the factory unstamped blocks?
