Gordon, you can also use 1/4 X 28 nut plates from Aircraft Spruce ( or similar aircraft supply) that size is basically the same as 6 / 1.00. Saves having to drill out weld nuts

Really wanted metric hardware, this was a way to get it.
I know,,,the 6X 1.00 bolt threads right in. That's the beauty of it.
