Todd, missed seeing you at VIR last weekend. You still running DEs? Are you using 225 in the front too?Quote:

SoCal,
Beautiful car!
I see you have your new period sport seats installed!
Do you have a detailed picture of the interior with the new seats?
Johan
Thanks guys!
After browsing the "show your seats" thread over and over for the last 6 months or so, I decided to find something vintage to replace the sparcos. I would've liked to had found a set of sport seats but there were no deals to be had during my search. Actually there was one sport seat in the local craigslist a few months ago, when I called the seller told me it sold the same day within hours - care to guess how much? $150! I was a day late... Someone definitely scored.
I found this pair of scheels that had been in storage for many years and the owner didn't want to sell, but after a couple of weeks of persistency, he let me have them for a fair price. They needed complete tear down and upholstery but were in good shape structurely. One is a fixed frame and the other has a tilting mechanism driven by gears and a knob on the side.
They're very comfortable and I'm pleased on how they turned out. Below are some pictures.

squint and pretend it's a 911, you really cannot tell unless you hear it run ;-) Could not resist posting, I took those yesterday on a 80F day in Tampa... Just put the incorrect black horn grills on the car (sue me, I like'em)...
All interlopers welcome! Let's see more rides!!
