It is interesting how, what I would describe as an unmotivated seller, will follow the downward market instead of getting ahead of it and selling their car. Has been listed at $120K back in May and been on eBay:

BaT Description:
This 1970 Porsche 911T Targa is a two-owner example powered by its numbers matching 2.2L flat-six as confirmed by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The longterm second owner commissioned a bare-metal repaint last year, and also had a complete engine rebuild performed at 85k miles. More recent work included a valve adjustment, rebuild of the carbs, and the installation of new fuel lines, upper valve cover gaskets, and plug wires. Extensive service records document the original owner’s time with the car in California, as well as the second owner’s 30 year tenure, which included a 3-year military assignment in Germany where the car was serviced by the Porsche factory. The selling dealer is located in Jacksonville, Florida and is offering the car with the CoA and a clean Florida title.
After its purchase from the original owner in California, the car accompanied the second owner on Air Force assignments to Stuttgart and Washington, D.C. prior to his retirement in Florida, where it has remained since 1995. The car was originally finished in Burgundy, and in 2015 was given an extensive bare-metal repaint in red by noted Jacksonville painter Terry Simmons. The paintwork is noted by the seller to be of high quality, exhibiting deep gloss with no traces of the original Burgundy. The car appears to exhibit good panel fit with uniform body gaps. Bright work and rubber components show well, with good shine and proper fitment. The factory 6×15 Fuchs remain in good condition and were fitted with new Continental tires earlier this year.
The interior appears well preserved with a straight dash, good carpets, and seating surfaces that remain taut and free of any noticeable rips or tears. Imperfections noted by the seller include door panel material puling away from its substrate, as well as some play in the door pocket hinges. Per the included CoA, the car comes equipped with the “S” gauges and aluminum door sills. An aftermarket CD player has been fitted and the steering wheel rim is wrapped in an aftermarket cover. The 5-digit odometer has rolled over once and now shows just over 103k miles.
Extensive service records date back to new and document servicing in California, the Porsche factory in Stuttgart, Washington, DC, and Florida. The original 2.2L flat-six received a complete rebuild that was commissioned by the second owner at 85k miles in 1997. Additional maintenance performed in February of this year included:
- Valve adjustment
- Rebuilt carburetors
- Upper valve cover gasket replacement
- New fuel lines
- New spark plugs and wires
- Full oil change
Underside shots display a clean and tidy underbody that has remained well-preserved from the elements. The floor pans and sills appear straight, with the rockers retaining their original ‘S’ trim. Engine #6107485 is confirmed as the original by the Certificate of Authenticity. Extensive paperwork includes a Porsche CoA along with service receipts and invoices documenting the engine rebuild, exterior repaint, and over 30 years of maintenance. The original tool kit and jack are also included.
