"Gorgeous" doesn't begin to describe this car. No, really.
Car ended up at our shop after the auction.
What a mess.

Not surprising still available with all the rust visable and the rust not visable. Not a low cost restoration.

Auction Description:
- Barn-Find Original
- Matching Numbers
- Unmolested Candidate
Farm fresh. A true barn-find, this classic remains just the way it left Stuttgart. With only 50K on the clock, and having served only ten years before it was stowed away in an Upstate New York barn, the paint is original to the car with the exception of the deck lid. The interior shows the usual signs of wear from use and a few other scars from storage. The engine does not turn over and has not been tinkered with since being extracted from the country. A perfect start for a 911 build this two-owner car is destined for greatness again.
Now that is a major project. I see at least $20,000 in rust repair. At least.

Frank,
Trust me you would be very disappointed in this car if you saw it in person, which I have! There are so many issues with the body and paint! It just goes to show how deceiving pictures can be. Like you, it seemed to me that the car would be a great value for that price until I saw it!
