Dave, here you have another few numbers for your database:
1967 911S, chassis number 306497S. In its Certificate of Autenticity appairs to have been completed the 2nd, August, 1967, Polo Red color (6602) with engine number 960628 and transmission 103624 (901/02). Unfortunately I don't have that engine; mine is 961958, 901/02, number of fabrication 8773.

DeLuxers,
A little, not good, news from Steve who wrote:
Allen,
I was at the Archiv last week. I did spend some time looking for the 13/66. I looked at the file that it should have been in. I also spoke again with Jens. They have found nothing.
I did determine that these car chassis/bodies (with 1966 numbers) were made by Reutter May-July as you know but they were doing the '67 ones as well.
Best,
Steve
So, at the moment, we are stymied. Darn !

I have a 66 911 with electric sunroof 304389. motor 901/05 907622 trans 902/1 230427. It is registered as a 67 and has 67 style script and the angled 911 holes brazed or welded shut.. Euro model, originally Polo Red.
304703 IS the first deLuxe. Although we don't have a definitive listing of deLuxe features, "standard 1966 model year ones would seem to apply. Your deck modified deck lid fits with other we've seen. Again a full-fitted 1966 MY number with a 1967 MY decreed by Porsche to sell old stock. And you'd have a 1967 deluxe !
Thanks.

Raj, Pricing damn! A great question. Same pricing as a base model 1967 or was the deLuxe costing a premium. I bet 13/66 covers specifically that !!!
Jose,
What is desperatiely needed for your car is a Kardex or Porsche C of A. I have a file on you car but don't have either of those. Do you? If not, I strongly sugggest you obtain one of same, that will no doubt clear up your question rather then years of speculation. My bet? Your car came with a different engine than you have now...almost for sure. But, I'll be happy to be wrong! Thanks.

Slanted script on dash, pretty sure no S brakes but Ill have to check. I havent picked it up yet. It has a 911L script on the motor lid. Not sure who did that. My car was sold by Jim Kelly Porsche in Buffalo NY to William Flood in 1970 as a 1967 911L according to my records.
Guys,
My research indicates that the range for these cars ended at 304955. All have 1966 chassis numbers. And, while 1967 numbers "begin" at 305101......in fact, 1966 numbers end at 304955 and there is no 304956-305100.
