Greg, I just found your thread on Pelican last night. Great read, (here it is for those curious) and really nice job. I love the superlites and they look great.

Thanks! In case you're still wondering, I used a Sony a700 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle lens. I used a polarized filter mainly so I could jack up the exposure time (I don't have any ND filters yet). The exposure was about 15 seconds, and I used an LED flashlight for the bluish glow. The camera was mounted on a tripod as low as it would go - probably about 18 inches or so. I adjusted the levels a bit in Lightroom, but otherwise it's untouched (I didn't modify anything in Photoshop). It took about 50 attempts to get a light trail I liked.

I just found this pic while looking for another. I don't think I have ever posted it because a fellow photo and porsche enthusiast gave me a not so favorable critique...something about "rising out of tar". It hurt my feelings. ;)

the last rally i entered in my RS replica did not, shall we say, end well...

however, it is now being rebuilt in lightweight 911ST spec - based on one of the SAMSON cars (the body was already dark blue). here is some dirty pics after a 10 hour trailer ride back from the body shop.

Hi Paul,

Great looking Carrera! Looks to be a very good restoration of your RHD Touring. I must say that White w/ Viper Green is one of my very favorite color schemes. Enjoy.:)

I thought "1960s Batman villain camera angle" but I guess that dates me. Nice pic.

The photo in this post does not come up on my screen:( which is a shame 'cause it sounds like it is a good one. Anyone else have this problem? I seem to be getting all the other pix alright in the other posts:confused:
