[QUOTE=Ken F;758190]Thanks Steve. Headed up North in the hot rod any time soon?[QUOTE]
Yup, the classic 24 at Daytona.
Rick says you guys will be there as well.
I dropped my motor to fix a small leak, and than was inspired by Mr. Tilton's front trunk redo and decided to redo my engine bay. On the list:
Strip coating and interior
Weld excess holds
Sand and Prime
Paint (haven't decided if I will paint it satin black, or apply the original textured coating.
Clean up the spaghetti wires
Mount the MSD Box
Drink some beers

Working on some fiddly bits for the interior:
New foam behind the dash basket weave, and new cardboard for the rear jump seats.
Bought another 911 - a MY 68.
Received an unexpected letter…..
I've purchased a few items from Manuel Campuzano, perfect stickers and an excellent custom balsa wood gear knob; when I asked for items to refurb my Repa seat belt receivers many months ago he was down to his vey last set of 'PRESS' decals but promised me the 'PUSH' triangles if he ever produced more. Good to his word he remembered, complete with his customary 'gift'.
In a digital world of plastic courier bags and computer printed labels, Manuel's old school hand written, ink stamped packages from Mexico City just look so cool…..even cooler knowing there's old Porsche related items inside!….
…many thanks Manuel and to use a very old English term...…..you're a good egg! ;)…..

Cheers,
+1 for Manuel
Nothing too ambitious...just a warm bath and a new coat of Zymol...
