Just to make sure, that's a solid rather than metallic, correct? I like it a lot, sort of close to the color of Chris Nielsen's (sp?) ST.Quote:

Not quite my car but one of my painted projects. This was a strip to metal, flares, and body work project. The 1967 is my car that I found in a auto junk yard. It has been under going major surgery since it's resurrection. When it is completed, I will post.
Chassis #24 of '71 production.

Here is my Porsche , it is so much fun driving it around tiny mountain roads.
zweistein,
Your car looks like fun. It is also quite low :D :D :D
What size tires are those?
Hi Andrew,
yes my car is lowered a bit (5cm). Currently I use 195/65/15 but it is difficult to get good sport tyres for that size. 2 Weeks ago I changed to 205/55/16 on 16" Fuchs wheels ,which I had refurberished to the early 911 style , and I use now Michelin Pilot sport cup semi slicks. Fotos will follow as I would like to get an oppinion from this board.
Suspension is little changed, stiffening a targa wouldn't work well anyway. In my view best I could do was Elephantracing bushings, front stock torsion and 19mm sway bar, rear 24mm torsion and 18mm sway bar.
To make sure the car deserves the Porsche name and climbs nicely uphill the engine is original block but converted to 2.7 RS inside.

This 70S will be very nice in a few years. Not running at the moment. Will start a thread to try to sort it out. Matching numbers and original slate gray under sloppy silver paint job.
Greeting!

Thanks Raj.
The car will go back to slate as soon as funds allow it. Hope it will be finished within two years. And yes, John is a really great guy. Without him I think I would have given up long time ago. He also helped me checking out this car and gave me the push I needed to bring it home from Japan.
