Thomas, may I just say, thank you so much for all of your additions to this thread and to keeping it fresh!
I second Peter's sentiment....Quote:

Hi, thanks Peter and Chuck for appreciating my thread about old rally cars etc. It's nice to have such a nice Porsche 911 Early page that is appreciated all over the world.

Björn Waldegård cheered on by his father in his first race with a Porsche 911 in February 1967. This is where Swedish rally sport with Porsche began.
My favorite from several color photos of 7707KW Sobieslaw Zasada

Is it really the same car?
I like the "Porsche Rennabteilung" sticker ;)
Yes Zasada's 912 was a late 1966 model car made in early 1967 and as new had the 912 badge in the center of the engine lid not the slanted one of earlier cars that is on this car. Of course the engine lid may have been replaced with an earlier one but superficially they dont look the same car
Here is a picture of it brand new on Zoll plates on 16 June 1967 at Rallye de Geneve

and another color one on 2 August 1967 at Rajd Polski which shows the 912 badge (as does the one in the photo posted above from the same event)

Also the car on the truck appears to have a radio antenna on the drivers side that is not on any of the pictures I have of the car back in the day for example here
