wouldn't it be cheaper for you to buy the grills new from Soterick? They look first rate. His exhaust tips are better than perfect.
I'll be happy to show a picture when finished. Give them a call about anodizing. Also worth the trip to see process.
As to chroming they repair the pot metal, then apply 5 mils copper, 1 mil of nickel and then 2 minutes in chrome. If after copper they are not satisfied, they continue repair and then copper again.
Stop and see Battleship Massachusetts while you are there.

Thanks for the plug.... but the grills are the type for fog lights, and they are just being finished up for LWB.
I did recommend my own chrome shop to him for his grills up here in Seattle. My "standard" grills are still a ways off, but they are definitely in the works in terms of that the tooling has already been started.
Note that for my products we use a copper layer, and then 2 layers of nickel before we go to chrome.
