And down the rabbit hole we go... :D

Going to Kundensport, eh? Hans certainly has experience with great restorations of significant 914-6s. I will have to stop by on my winter school break.
Did Brumos have two 1970 914-6 GT cars for the 1971 Season ? Unless so ....
It would seem , http://www.stazak.com/914/gt/car/car.html
Needs to update it's information , they list 9140430315 as being the 1971 IMSA Championship Brumos car. Unless No. 0315 made it from Luxembourg to Brumos somehow , to have in their stable also (along with No. 0705). Then this cannot be. But maybe it did. RacingSportsCars , lists 0705 as being the car Gregg - Haywood drove for all of the 1971 season. And the telex from porsche shows 0705 went to them.
I have 914 043 0315 listed as entered at 1970 Le Mans 24hrs , by Ecurie Luxembourg . Scheduled to be driven by Nicolas Koob - 'Pedro' as No. 72. But it "Did not Arrive" to start the race. The factory telex dated June 30 1971 seems to verify this , as it lists No. 315 to "Losch" in Luxembourg. Which would be André Losch : Garage André Losch / (today) : Porsche Zenter Lëtzebuerg .
At 1970 Le mans 24 . Koob & Edwin Kremer ended up running a 911S (No. 47) , entered by the same Ecurie Luxembourg Team (finished 7th overall , 1st GT2.5).
I have nothing of 9140430315 after that however , it seems to vanish. It could have gone anywhere ?
However, at all the races where Brumos entered a 914/6 in 1971 , there seems to only one car per race entered by them. Except for here , according to RacingSportsCars :
1971 3 Hr. Bridgehampton (June 27, 1971) . They had a 2nd 914/6 entered (entry no. 58) , with scheduled drivers : Theodoracopulos / Gregg. It finished 3rd overall.
The Brumos main entry here was numbered 59 , with Greg / Haywood scheduled . It finished 1st
Since there were plenty of numbers to choose from at this race, and 58 being one next to the known normal Brumos No. 59. It would seem likely , the entry of No. 58 at 1971 Bridgehampton being listed as associated with Brumos . Is probably correct.
Which car is which entry No. at these races ? I have no clue , other than seeing the Porsche telex of 0705 to Gregg / USA.
Does anyone have info on 914 043 2563 ? Some sites claim it as a dealer built GT from a factory 914/6. Some other sites show it as the 2nd Brumos car that ran at Brideghampton and Watkins Glen in 1971.
+1 on updates to the 914/6 Register. Have tried to post mine, but an error message has been a fixture for months.
Is anyone minding the site?
