Hi Chuck, I think you and I spoke about this once but let's do an article on the Nor Cal Vintage VW & Porsche Treffen? I am a little bias since I put it on but it is a very different kind of show...because it's a gathering not a show.
Let me know,
Michael

Giving back....
Bumping this important reminder.........
As our ESSES editor John Dilger writes every quarter; he needs (always needs, would love to have a backlog) new articles for our ESSES.
We'd especially like some of our new members to contribute...... :)
Please, take some time to write a small article about your car, a particular Early 911 adventure, or a tech trick/advice/procedure and some accompanying HIGH RES photos and send them along to John at:

This is your news magazine for YOU and US.......... please help us out and give back...
Be a part 'on record' of the community and passion you're already so addicted to........ ;)

Alright Chuck,
Since you asked nicely and since I am a "newer member". I'm working on an article now. But it's taking me a while to put it together.
The friends and folks Im tracking down along with the photos, the best way to put it is... They're from way back when. Some of the highlights are really cool.
I'll get with John D

There are some local strippers who are really into Porsches, or at least the old guys with the Porsches they hang out with think so. Can I write something, including photos of their garages? I'll make 'em wear clothes unless you guys decide otherwise.

Wow Tom..
Where'd you say this place was? :D

Chuck,
I will document the restoration to the '68 912 i recently found 2 miles from my home.
Would it not qualify due to that number 2 on the glove box?
My best regards, Matt
