Has anyone else picked up on this? Looks like a nice car though, but a heck of a price.
commenting on asking prices such as this one is folly.
I subscribe to the theory that there is an a$$ for every seat.
Some things defy reasonable explaination, but that doesn't mean they can't or don't happen.
OK boys,
I think this poor thread came off it's wheels and ran into 'Off Topic' right about here...... ;)
I know taking the windy road is fun......... but...
Bless you Chuck (again)

Dealer Description:
The pre-1974 911 is an icon of the motoring world – with values having appreciated in recent years. It has become increasingly challenging to find exceptional examples that exhibit strong condition and provenance, especially 2.0 liter S models with matching numbers.
This 911 S is well known to Autosport Designs and is the recipient of a comprehensive ground-up restoration. It comes with all books, tools and a three-ring binder of photos and receipts documenting the details and cost of the restoration. The Certificate of Authenticity shows this example to be a U.S. delivery 911 S with matching numbers and complete with its original factory options as follows: Silver metallic paintwork, Black leatherette interior, tinted glass throughout, Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio with U.S. band and antenna, Air pressure gauge, Ignition lock, Trim strips, Michelin tires.
Autosport Designs Inc has curated this 911 into two prominent East Coast collections where the car was maintained with no expense spared to preserve its excellent condition and drivability. As such, the car delivers the highly desirable and visceral early 911 driving experience with excellent road manners, strong power and is a rare opportunity for the discerning Porsche enthusiast/collector.
This example is an outstanding example of an early-S model and is ready for immediate road, Rally or Concours use.
