I try to back into these things. A really good 1967S might be worth $350,000. You're going to spend at least $200,000 getting this basket case completed. More likely $250,000. You're going to tie up a bunch of money for several years.
If you put $200,000 into equities you will make around $10,000 a year.
All of this means you better love this car. Restoring this car has to be a huge goal. It's going to destroy your finances and most likely all your other hobbies.
On the other hand if you really want to do this why not?
