Really interesting tire….it does say not intended for highway use
But I did buy ser of Dunlop Sport Classics 185’s and decided to move over to my polished Cookie Cutters ( do love their look)
Now looking for another tire for my deep 6 Fuchs …I see that these Dunlop Sport classics also come in 205’s
Maybe 205 rear & 185 front ..
I like to have 2 sets of rims/tires depending on type of driving/event

Like HarryD I run 16's as there are still a lot of HR, VR, and WR choices. Here is a 16 set I had finished in 2010 to copy as close as possible 15's. To get that look just paint the flats. No paint up the pedals or up the rims.
Then a fun set of greens.
The 15 and 16 wheels have the same 36mm offset. 16 inch tires have a somewhat square shoulder. 15's a more rounder shoulder.

For the lettering I lay a piece of tracing paper on the sidewall lettering. Then I use an artist charcoal stick to highlight what's on the sidewall. I then send it to Tire Sticker and they scan what I sent. The letters are a perfect match to the sidewall.

Most of the traditional Vintage Porsche folks like the Black on Anodized Fuchs.
At Denver's largest car show/concourse the ticket buyers and kids liked the green wheels 10 to 1.
We Vintage grey hairs are kind of stuck in our ways. I'm that way about bright painted engine fans.
On the 16's , is the anodizing on the spokes the same as on the rim? I always thought it was rougher as most came with painted spokes from the factory.

A shorter sidewalk shortens the the drive ratios and if you can live with the inaccurate Speedo/odo and (what feel are) odd shift points it does makes for a more spirited drive.Quote:
