I once owned an original seat, and it came with the same cross bracket that Andy showed.
The sliders on that seat were the same as the early racing buckets, commonly called the R seat, and ST seats.
That's my two cents worth.

I have a pair of RS Lightweight seats but not the brackets (although I do know where to lay my hands on a new [repro] pair).

I guess there can be other brackets that were used. The single side bracket that andy shows if used will not allow access to the rear of the car. The tilting frames do. Those are all I have ever seen (doesn't mean thats all there was). I have a pair of original turnbuckle seats that came out of an original RS. They have the tilting type frames.
