Thanks for that feedback. I am also learning like all things Porsche there are very few absolutes, the RSR seats came in multiple arrangements.

Hey there, Tadd. Welcome to Longhood land!
Tadd, not really sure but its a dark grey synthetic kind of brushed nylon, you would not want to wear it next to your skin!

RSR driver's seat was a higher sided fixed back version of the RSL or RS lightweight seat. Some had headrests, some did not. Rob Pederson used to make replicas - I understand he is working with TRE now, so you may want to contact Dave at TRE.
Mark at vintage seats does this as well, although not on his website.
